power in sharing stories
Like Angela, there are teachers and other school employees around our state who can't afford to live where they teach and work. Many teachers and other school employees hold two or three jobs to support their "teaching addiction." Washington state ranks dead last in teacher compensation among West Coast states. We need to ensure that Washington is able to attract and retain the best educators for all our students.
